Welcome to our home, where the presence of warm-heartedness and respect for the individual weighs more than anything else. Here there is room for open sandwiches, communal singing and exciting trips. And more than anything else is here room for a meaningful life.

We like good food at Lotte, and we enjoy ourselves by eating together. At meal times we gather everybody in the house; staff, residents - and the relatives, when they want - and socialize. Eating together strengthens social relations, and at Lotte, we eat the food that we like best.

We are all different, and therefore have different wants and needs when it comes to food. The differences must be accommodated at Lotte, and therefore we place great emphasis on listening to each resident's specific wants and try wherever possible to accommodate them in daily life.

Respect for residents' individual habits, desires and needs are the foundation for all care at Lotte. An approach to care and nursing, which requires that we have a thorough knowledge of each resident's habits and former lifestyles. Therefore, we also focus on fellowship and good conversation with the resident and relatives already in the occupation of Lotte.

The staff makes every effort to create a safe and pleasant home for each resident. The is best achieved through being present and by spending time together. Therefore we have chosen to have no staff facilities. The staff and residents dine together. We drink coffee together, talk and have fun at every opportunity.

Personal care is also important to our residents' wellbeing. Residents will therefore be offer to use our permanent staff hairdresser and chiropodist, or to select a specific hairdresser or chiropodist as desired in the city. And at Lotte is obvious that the resident always will be joined by someone from the staff. It creates a sense of security and makes it easier to remember messages, and gives an opportunity to talk about it afterwards.
